The first investigations into establishing the network look
promissing. The systems do not need to have high performance: we have
to scan local networks faster than current engines scan the whole
web, to give a better result.
The required software is comparible with the software used in the lower level of current engines. Most parts of the software are available as packages for Perl on CPAN. Everyone is using search-engines every day, but their ability to work is decreasing rapidly.
