Search Engines better? Locating the Answer

The more keywords we specify, the more sites (or pages) are found which contain one or more of the words (hits). But, by ranking the sites (or pages) by the number of hits, we end-up with sites (or pages) which have the best chance to contain the requested information.

This does not have to be the case for all combinations of words. For instance, when you specify a word which has different meanings, you add some wrong sites to your ranking.
